The personal company “Dimitris Gounaris”, the creator of the chesstavli.com website, offers its services under the following “Terms of Use”, which the user-visitor must completely accept if s/he wants to navigate through the website. For this reason before navigating through our webpages, please take some time to review the following.

1.General Information

All information regarding products and services are true and accurate with the reservation only for any technical or typographical errors.

A.SHIPMENTS WITHIN GREECE

The time for merchandise deliveries ranges between one and seven business days for shipments within Greece. However, this time may be affected by weather conditions or deliveries to remote locations. In both such cases the consumer shall be notified on time.

B.SHIPMENTS OUTSIDE GREECE

In EU member-states shipments are conducted through the Hellenic Postal Service ELTA.

In the other parts of the world dispatches may be carried out through the Hellenic Postal Service ELTA.

The time of delivery ranges between seven and ten business days for European countries and for the rest of the world between ten and fifteen days.

In all cases the customer shall receive an electronic message or SMS message with the shipment number.

We do our best possible to match the availability sees the customer on the chesstavli.com webpages with the actual stock in our warehouses. If despite all this there may arise a problem sometimes with the availability of products chosen by the customer, the customer shall be notified immediately.

2. Safety

All requested information or personal data involved in your transactions is absolutely secure. Such data shall be used exclusively by our authorized personnel so that our mutual communication may be safeguarded.

Starting a Personal Account

By entering the required data in the fields of the webpage “Start an Account”, you create your own personal account, by stating username (e-mail address) and password (secret code number) and you can manage your own personal profile whenever you choose including any updates on the course of your order. The sole person in charge of maintaining the confidentiality of your account will be you. The chesstavli.com electronic shop shall bear no responsibility for the use of your secret code number by any unauthorized person.

Credit Card Purchases through Eurobank

All credit card or debit card transactions are conducted in the secure environment of Eurobank. This means that no data of your credit card shall be stored in the chesstavli.com website server. Eurobank uses the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) communication protocol in combination with encryption up to 256 bits which guarantees the security of your Internet transactions.

3.Manners of Payment

Α.MANNERS OF PAYMENT WITHIN GREECE

Payment with credit card: We accept Visa, Mastercard, VisaElectron, Maestro.

Payment through PayPal: Payments are done through the secure PayPal server. PayPal supports a great number of credit cards, such as MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Diner’s Club.

Payment with Bank Draft.

Payment upon delivery of order at your place (COD): You may pay the shipment courier upon delivery of your order at your place. The method of COD (collect on delivery) payment is available in all cities in Greece regardless of weight.

B.MANNERS OF PAYMENT OUTSIDE GREECE

4.Difference between “Store Price” and “e-Shop price”

At our e-shop you may find some products at a lower price in comparison with our physical store. This is part of our pricing policy which intends to offer the lowest prices at our e-shop throughout the year.

There is also a great number of products labeled “offer”, which are at a discount price and this price applies to both the e-shop and the physical store.

5.Orders - Delivery of Merchandise - Delivery Expenses

Upon completion of your order you shall receive an e-mail message with a confirmation number.

A. ORDERS WITHIN GREECE

Orders to be paid through credit cards, bank drafts or PayPal are shipped with no confirmation.

Delivery expenses are free-of-charge.

The foregoing prices include VAT.

Deliveries are done Monday through Friday usually in the morning hours. The time of delivery ranges between one and five days.

Pick up from physical chesstavli.com store: As soon as you complete and pay for your order through our chesstavli.com website, you may pick up your order from any physical store of your convenience, after prior phone contact with a company representative.

B. ORDERS OUTSIDE GREECE

In EU member-states shipments are conducted through the Hellenic Postal Service ELTA.

6. Failure of Completion of Order

We strive to successfully complete all orders in the shortest time possible. In rare instances, however, we may not able to complete the shipment of your order. This may be due to erroneous updates on the availability of any products, simultaneous sales at some physical store and finally failure to communicate with the customer.

7. Return of Products

You are entitled to return the product you just bought and request to change it. The time span for such returns is fifteen days.

The date recorded on the delivery receipt of the Hellenic Postal Service is regarded as the date of delivery. We stress that all returned products shall have to be in an impeccable condition, in their original packaging accompanied by all necessary documentation (e.g. retail sale receipts, etc).

PROCESS OF CHANGE OF PRODUCTS FOR ORDERS OF WITHIN GREECE

1. You first inform and provide a reason for the change of the product. This can be done over the phone at the tel. no. 210 32 17 488 or in an e-mail message to our electronic mail address info@chesstavli.com.

2. We approve the return.

3. You send the product to our company and charge chesstavli.com.

-The package to be received by us shall have to be in an impeccable condition, fully packaged and wrapped in nylon film. The package shall bear a label reading “FRAGILE” to be supplied by the courier service.

-No products with destroyed or torn packaging shall be accepted for return.

-In such cases the package shall be returned to the sender-customer at his/her charge.

4. We send you the new product COD charging 5.00 euros. In case you request yet another change of the same product you have just received, you shall be fully charged for the entire cost of shipment. This means we shall send you the new product COD charging 10.00 euros this time.

PROCEDURE TO CHANGE PRODUCTS FOR ORDERS OUTSIDE GREECE

2. We approve the return.

ATTENTION:

All costs shall be charged to the customer.

Your package shall be labeled “REGISTERED” accompanied by a Tracking Number to facilitate its monitoring.

Our company shall have no responsibility until the time of receipt of the product. Responsibility shall fully rest on the customer.

The package to be received by us shall have to be in an impeccable condition, fully packaged and wrapped. No products in damaged or torn packaging shall be accepted for change. No products in damaged carton boxes shall in any case be accepted for change.

Payment of shipment expenses of the new product may be done through PayPal or a bank draft.

8. Procedure for Returns due to Customer Back-Out (Request for Money Refund)

A. PROCEDURE OF MONEY REFUND WITHIN GREECE

In case of a money refund, you will notify to us your bank account in order to deposit the amount of your order. From this amount 5.00 euros will be deducted for product return expenses.

Money refunds are done provided the following are fulfilled:

- Communication with the Customer Service Department prior to any action at the tel. no. 210 321 7488 or to the e-mail address info@chesstavli.com.

- All products must be delivered in an impeccable condition, identical to the condition in which you received them accompanied by all documentation (receipts, etc).

In all foregoing cases we reserve the right to refuse any refund.

B. PROCEDURE FOR MONEY REFUNDS OUTSIDE GREECE

We refund your money through the same route you made your initial payment (PayPal, credit card, or bank draft).

Money refunds of shall be done provided the following are fulfilled:

- Communication with the Customer Service Department prior to any action at the tel. no. 0030 210 321 7488 or to our e-mail address info@chesstavli.com.

- The product must be delivered by us in an impeccable condition, identical to the state in which you received it from us along with all its accompanying documentation (receipt, cards, special packaging, etc). Please be careful with the product’s packaging. In any other case we reserve the right to refuse your request for a money refund.

ATTENTION:

All shipment costs shall be charged to the customer.

Your package shall be sent via REGISTERED MAIL accompanied by a Tracking Number to facilitate its monitoring.

Our company shall bear no responsibility until the time of receipt by our company. All responsibility shall lie completely with the customer.

9. Defective Products

A. PROCEDURE FOR DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE REPLACEMENT WITHIN GREECE

In cases of sale of demonstrably bad-quality goods sent by chesstavli.com, such as defective goods, we assume full responsibility for their replacement including costs for return and repeat shipment.

Any products alleged by the customer to be defective shall be inspected. If the customer’s request is approved, the goods shall be replaced only once. The approval procedure shall take four to five business days.

In case of non-availability of the product you have the option to a money refund. As soon as we get the defective merchandise we shall return the full amount you were charged.

B. PROCEDURE FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT REPLACEMENT OUTSIDE GREECE

In cases of sale of demonstrably bad-quality goods sent by chesstavli.com, such as defective goods, we shall assume full responsibility for their replacement including costs for return and repeat shipment.

The procedure shall be as follows:

- You will send us photographs of the defective merchandise to our e-mail address: info@chesstavli.com.

- We approve your return after we review your request. The approval procedure shall take four to five business days.

- After we receive the defective good, we shall replace it with a new one provided there is one available. Or, with something else of your liking, if you so wish. The replacement of the defective good shall be carried out only once.

- In case of non-availability of the product there is the option to have your money refunded. As soon as we get the defective merchandise we shall return the full amount you were charged (product cost and shipment cost) including the cost you assumed for return of the product.
